Watch out for low branches…don’t let this happen to you! Click here for what NOT to do with the pear trees…Seriously, it’s time to trim the low-hanging branches of our beautiful pear trees, so our walkers can safely navigate the sidewalks again. :)

Also, the City of Munroe Falls will not be trimming the streetside portion of the trees this year, so please check if your tree is impeding the view of drivers. If you have any questions about trimming the trees, please contact the board.

The Steeplechase - Where the Rainbow Begins!

A rainbow is a symbol of a promise. Here in The Steeplechase, it’s a reminder that we have sunny days and stormy days, but always a beautiful place to come home to and enjoy life!

Directory Information Request

This month you will receive an email or a visit from either Kiran or Dawn as we gather the most recent info for the directory. You have the chance to take out an ad for your service or business for NO CHARGE when you live in The Steeplechase. This version of the directory will be available online in a password protected, printable document, saving us the printing charges, which are substantial.

Please help us get the updated info in a timely fashion for this valuable resource.
Let me know if you would like to see coupons from local merchants in the directory - we thought it might be helpful to have ways to save $$$ just for our neighbors.

Your input counts!!

Some of our residents were able to come out and show appreciation for Officer Joshua Miktarian. Miktarian is the first member of the Twinsburg Police Department killed in the line of duty.

Here is some of the news coverage:

There are many beautiful neighborhoods in Summit County, and here’s some insight to ours…

The Steeplechase is one development of homes which has lived up to its potential. Here are some not-so-obvious reasons why:

  • The 153 properties are well maintained and manicured.
  • The trees, which are quite a status symbol in suburban settings, are tall and healthy.
  • Our pear-tree lined streets are one of the jaw-dropping sights in spring. This year’s show was superb!
  • There is only one way in and out of The Steeplechase, so it is a very peaceful setting.
  • We aren’t directly in the flight path of an airport, the trains are heard faintly in the distance and traffic noise is very minimal.
  • We have sidewalks, and many of the residents walk or run everyday.
  • It’s very kid-friendly.
  • We usually only have a few houses for sale at any given time.
  • Many families living here are original owners who built in the 80s and early 90s.
  • Our mandatory annual dues is only $50.
  • Our homeowner’s association sponsors events regularly, such as the neighborhood garage sales, hayride, swim party, bowling and annual block party.
  • We do a beautiful Christmas luminary show every year, lining the streets with candles that glow all night on Christmas Eve. It’s spectacular!
  • We have a directory to keep in touch with one another.
  • We have a blog to keep updated on local events.
  • We are in an excellent school system.
  • We are centrally located to Akron and Cleveland, making for very short commutes.

If you would like to see some of the beautiful homes for sale in The Steeplechase, call me today @  330-990-4236        and I will be glad to show you around!
