Despite the rain and lack of fluffy white snow, we had a glowing Christmas Eve, as evidenced here…many thanks to all who worked to keep their luminaries lit and decorations up in the blustery weather…we had a lot of visitors to see the sparkling sights, and they weren’t disappointed!

Many more shots to be posted after Santa comes to the Maloney household.

Hurricane Ike rendered a KO on this lamppost!

Remnants of Hurricane Ike came to visit us and we suffered a few casualties! Last night we lost a number of pear trees – at least two on Saint Leger were blocking the roadway and debris is everywhere – leaves and sticks and branches still remain, even after a quick clean up by residents and the city.

This tree couldn't withstand the powerful wind!
